The Board of Turku City Region

The Board of Turku City Region is the highest decision-making body of the Turku City Region Joint Municipal Authority. Turku is represented in the board by the Mayor of Turku and two Deputy Mayors. Kaarina, Lieto, Naantali, Raisio and Rusko are represented by the Chair of the Local Council and the Chair of the Local Executive. The member municipalities appoint personal deputies for the members of the board.

The Board of Turku City Region is chaired by the Mayor of Turku. The Deputy Chair is appointed by the other member municipalities and rotates in their alphabetical order.
